Oswego was Erik Denno (guitar and vocals), Chris Turco (guitar and vocals), Darren Zentek (drums), Mike Markarian (bass), Ryan Nelson (percussion), and Vin Novara (percussion). They played shows around the D.C./Baltimore area from 1999 to 2001.

The group recorded with producer J. Robbins in 2000 at Inner Ear Studio in Arlington, Virginia, and Salad Days Studio in Washington, D.C. The songs were released on the Spanish label BCore Disc as the Just Getting Warmed Up EP in 2000, and an eponymous full-length CD in 2002.

In 2016, a compilation of Oswego's released and unreleased music was remixed by J. Robbins at Magpie Cage Studio in Baltimore, remastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio, and released as a self-titled double LP by the German label Arctic Rodeo.
